Our mission is to preserve, protect, and enhance the historic Baum Opera House. 

• Preservation: Commitment to maintaining the architectural and historical integrity of the Baum Opera House.

• Community Engagement: Serving as a hub for cultural, educational, and social events that bring people together.

• Accessibility: Ensuring the venue is welcoming and available to all members of the community.

• Volunteerism: Encouraging community involvement through volunteer opportunities and collaborative efforts

• Event Hosting: Providing a venue for local events, including theater productions, weddings, and community gatherings.

• Partnerships: Collaborating with organizations like the Miamisburg Rotary Club, which holds regular meetings and events at the Baum Opera House.

• Fundraising Initiatives: Organizing and supporting events that raise funds for community projects and the maintenance of the Opera House.​

• Roof Restoration: Aiming to raise $60,000 to replace the roof with a design resembling the original from 1884.

• Stage Improvements: Seeking $15,000 to enhance lighting equipment and stage facilities.

• General Maintenance: Continuous efforts to maintain and improve the building's infrastructure.

• Membership: Become a member of the Friends of the Baum society to receive updates and exclusive invitations.

• Donations: Contribute to our preservation efforts through one-time or recurring donations.
